Description
Annual award for a full-time college sophomore, junior or senior who is either currently in foster care, was in foster care at the time of their high school graduation and/or 18th birthday, or both parents are deceased. Selection is based on academic record, recommendations, essay, extracurricular involvement, and other personal achievements; finalists will be phone interviewed. Award is non-renewable and is paid in two installments; second semester monies is contingent upon successful completion of a full course load and a minimum 3.2 GPA. Award can be used toward tuition or living expenses. Award amount varies. Contact the Foundation’s website, in January, for additional information and/or application.
